Merseybank Nursing Home fails to meet all CQC standards

Merseybank Care Home in Hadfield failed to meet any of the standards required by the Care Quality Commission in their latest inspection dated 15th January 2014. According to their report improvements are required in standards of treating people with respect, providing suitable care, caring for safety and protecting them from harm, standards of staffing and standards of quality and suitability of management.

Merseybank Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 66 people, men and women. The home is divided into four units, although one unit is currently closed. The three units that are in use provide a service for people with physical disabilities, people with dementia, and older people with nursing needs.
