Men arrested and bailed over Glossop robbery

Four men have been arrested in connection with a robbery in Glossop. The men, aged 24, 26, 38, and 56 are from the Hyde and Tameside areas and have all been questioned and released on bail while inquires continue. Two masked men stole a large amount of cash after forcing their way into the currency exchange at a Co-operative Travel, in High Street West, at around 1.20pm on Friday, July 29. The offenders were wearing balaclavas and dark clothing. It is thought they fled from the scene in a silver Mercedes Benz.

Detectives investigating the robbery want to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw suspicious activity before it took place.
