Officers from the Glossop Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for information after damage was caused to a vehicle in the town. Police were contacted by a resident last week after damage was caused to the paintwork of their red Honda Civic. It is believed that vandals used a sharp instrument to scratch along the car as it was parked at Moorside View on Station Street, Glossop. The same vehicle has also been targeted in recent months which saw two rear tyres being punctured and a metal bollard at the car park being damaged.
Officers investigating the damage are urging the public to contact them if they know who may be responsible, or who may have seen suspicious activity in the Moorside View area.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PCSO Rachael Blackley on 101, quoting crime number 4214/16, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
