Flood warning no longer in force 17:19, Sunday 15 November 2015
A flood alert has been issued for the River Mersey Uplands catchment including Glossop. Heavy rainfall is expected to continue through Sunday. River levels remain high following the continuing rainfall. The Etherow at Woolley Bridge was 1.25m at 7:15am Sunday 15 November 2015. Flooding is possible. The latest information recorded at this location indicates the river is above its typical range of 0.12 metres to 1.20 metres. Around 2AM the river reached about 1.6m for a short period.
