Glossop man arrested after motorbike is taken from Glossop street

 

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of taking without consent after a motorbike was stolen in Glossop. Sometime between 10am and 10pm on Thursday, September 17, offenders stole a Rieju MRX motorbike from outside a property on Gladstone Street. On the same day, officers were driving along the A628 in Tintwistle when they noticed a similar looking bike. As the man was pulled over, police searched the vehicle and discovered a quantity of suspected Class B drugs. A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of taking without consent and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. He has since been bailed pending further inquiries.
