Glossop back to the dark ages as phone signal fails

Mobile phones are out all over Glossop because of technical problems that might not be fixed until Tuesday. There are unconfirmed reports that some Glossopians have been hitting their phones with rocks in attempts to make them functional, but this has been ineffective. Intermittent, weak or non existent signal has been reported from most networks since earlier in the week.  Freeview TV was also affected throughout the region on Friday, but most of Glossop had signal for the crucial 7.30 and 8.30pm viewing times. According to 02 "Sorry a phone mast close to you isn't working. This means you might experience problems making calls, using the internet, or sending/receiving emails in this area." No amount of hammering will fix this problem, be patient.

Glossop is expected to spend the weekend round the piano, like in the old days.
