Adam Jackson, aged 33, of Bradwell Terrace, Glossop pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, amphetamines and cannabis with intent to supply and was jailed for 38 months at Derby Crown Court last week. Patrolling officers saw Jackson and another man stood near a car in Matlock Bank, Glossop, on the afternoon of April 25 last year and thought they were acting suspiciously. They went to investigate and saw Jackson throw a bag in a nearby bin before running off. Items such as plastic food bags and scales were found in the bag along with white powder.
The car was searched and cannabis was found inside. Jackson later handed himself in to police.
